MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – June 10, 2014 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
Police Cruiser Bids- no bids received. The cruiser will go out for rebid with a minimum bid of $2,000. The bids will be opened on Monday, July 14th.
Valerie made a recommendation that Camp permits and bathing beach permits fees for 2016 be increased. The Board of Health’s inspections and paperwork requirements are time consuming. Valerie explained that all bathing beaches are tested weekly and the results complied and submitted to the state in October.
Camp recommendation fee of $300/yr Bathing Beach $75/yr.
The Town of Tolland’s semi public beaches : Twin Brook, WPOA(5), Tunxis Club, Girl Scouts of Connecticut and Camp Kinderland.
Ed informed the Selectboard that he has requested additional quotes for Colebrook River Road. This quote will include a 2” base coat instead of a 3” base coat and a 1 ½” top coat.
The Board of Selectmen appointed a Bonadies Field exploratory committee:
Kathy Cowles, Charlie Adams, Ed Deming, Joanne Duval and Eric R. Munson, III
Steve made motion to accept the above committee, Eric seconded.
Board of Selectmen appointed a Hazard Mitigation Work Group:
Ed Deming, Michael Sullivan, Thomas Paine, Ted Locke, Phil Grannan and E. Patrick Storey
Steve made motion to accept the above committee, Eric seconded.
